M. V. Kunhumohamed, fondly known as “Thadagam Kunhumohamed” is a philanthropist with a vision to empower the next generation through education. His activities are mainly focused around the villages of his home town Vadakkekad, without religious or political barriers. Education and housing are the key areas of his interest, while providing essentials like food and healthcare to the poor is dear to his heart.
He is the founding chairman of Jaleel Holdings, which is a UAE based investment company, founded in 1972 with interest predominantly in trading and distribution.
I'm Dr. Subodh Kumar
Member Secretary of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
Dr. Subodh Kumar is the former Member Secretary of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), a statutory body under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, DEPwD, Government of India. With 33+ years of expertise in disability and rehabilitation, he has played a pivotal role in shaping inclusive education and professional training across the country.
Over his 25-year tenure at RCI, Dr. Kumar held leadership roles such as Assistant Director, Deputy Director (Academics), Member Secretary, and Secretary of the National Board of Examination in Rehabilitation (NBER). He was instrumental in standardising training programmes for 16 categories of rehabilitation professionals, approving and monitoring institutions, granting registration certificates, and maintaining the Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR).
Beyond RCI, he served as Director (on deputation) at the State Institute for Research Training & Rehabilitation, Government of Haryana and later as Director (Campus Administration) at SGT University, Gurugram. Academically, he holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Magadh University and a Doctorate in Special Education from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Internationally, Dr. Kumar represented India at Melbourne University (Australia) and Dortmund University (Germany), contributing to the Indo-Australian CBID programme and aligning Indian rehabilitation training with global best practices.
His contributions include developing training modules, assessment & accreditation manuals, CBID and in-service training programmes, and implementing e-governance systems like the e-office and e-CRR portal. He has also guided academia as a PhD examiner , chaired conferences, and continues to inspire as a certified Rehabilitation Psychologist and Special Educator

Puneet is a Disability Rights advocate and an accessibility professional. He is cofounder of Billion Strong, an organization working towards empowering persons with disabilities globally. He is a person with Dyspraxia, Dyspraxia and stuttering. He is working at the intersection of Disability, Climate Change, rampant inhumane urbanization, and Mental Health. Recognized by Forbes for his efforts in workplace inclusion, Puneet was also honored with the Commonwealth Innovation Awards 2023 for his contributions to disability inclusion worldwide. His commitment seeks to empower marginalized communities and create accessible environments for all.
Born into poverty and facing domestic violence, his experiences fuel his passion for advocacy.

He has contributed to Industry Development through his past involvement with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), where he was a member of the National Renewable Energy Council, the Maharashtra State MSME Council, and the CII State Council of Maharashtra. He has also served on the Governing Council of the Industry Affiliate Program at the National Centre for Photovoltaic Research & Education (NCPRE) at IIT Bombay.
