The NeuroMovement Lab™

Neuromovement® experience at the NeuroMovement Lab®

Are you ready to defy traditional OT/ PT methodology through adaptive, somatic and integrated movement that opens neural pathways for your child who maybe autistic, hyperactive, delayed  speech or physically challenged?
Then stop running from one therapist to another.

We focus on a unique approach tailored specifically for children with special needs –  autism, delayed milestones, speech delays,  hyperactivity, ADHD, learning disorders including those with cerebral palsy and various physical disabilities.

What Sets Neuromovement Apart?

Holistic Approach

Sessions will be offered on weekdays after regular school hours, as well as on weekends, providing flexibility to accommodate the needs of families. Each session will last for approximately 45 minutes to an hour, ensuring enough time for focused interaction and skill development.

Neuroplasticity Enhancement

NeuroMovement™️ leverages the brain’s inherent ability to change and adapt (known as neuroplasticity). This is particularly beneficial for children with developmental challenges, as our methods stimulate connections in the brain, promoting improved motor skills and functions.

Personalised Learning

Our tailored sessions not only assess a child’s physical capabilities but also consider their emotional and psychological needs. This personalized approach differs from more standardized methods often seen in physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

Advantages of Neuromovement for Children with Special Needs

Improved Motor Skills

By focusing on the brain’s role in movement, Neuromovement helps children with cerebral palsy and physical disabilities develop better coordination and control over their movements. This leads to noticeable improvements in daily activities and overall quality of life.

Enhanced Cognitive Development

NeuroMovement™️ leverages the brain’s inherent ability to change and adapt (known as neuroplasticity). This is particularly beneficial for children with developmental challenges, as our methods stimulate connections in the brain, promoting improved motor skills and functions.

Boosted Confidence and Independence

Achieving motor skills and overcoming physical challenges leads to a significant increase in self-esteem. As children gain confidence in their abilities, they become more independent in navigating their environment.

Emotional and Social Growth

The integrated approach fosters emotional well-being, allowing children to connect and interact better with peers and caregivers. This social engagement is essential for holistic development.

Special Focus on Children with Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy affects muscle control and movement, impacting daily activities. Neuromovement specifically addresses these challenges by:

Targeting Unique Patterns

It utilizes techniques that address the individual movement patterns associated with cerebral palsy, promoting a more fluid and natural way of moving.

Incorporating Play

Recognising the importance of play in learning, NeuroMovement™️ integrates fun and enjoyable activities that motivate children to participate and engage.

At our NeuroMovement Lab™️, we believe every child has the potential to thrive. By embracing a holistic, brain-centered approach, we create a nurturing environment where children with special needs can blossom physically, cognitively, and emotionally.
Join us on this journey to unlock every child’s unique abilities and pave the way for a brighter future at The NeuroMovement Lab®
